Shaun Abreu, Public Affairs Coordinator, currently attends George Washington High School for Media and Communications and begins his freshman year at Columbia University in the fall. Shaun has always been a political zealot – you’ve probably seen him on the streets caressing the NY Times or defending Obama. In his free time, Shaun shakes hands, practices his bill-signing signature, and delivers speeches to invisible crowds. |

Christopher Itua, the leader of Team 1, is a 17-year-old from The Bronx who attends Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics. As a high school senior, he is preparing for a possible career in medicine as he looks to study biology throughout his college career. While he works towards a PhD, he takes time to enjoy hobbies such as drawing and basketball. Academics are very important to Christopher; however, he finds great interest in all sports. |

Mingxi (Leo) Jiang is a senior student at Manhattan International High School. He moved to the United States in 8th grade and began a brand new education here. For the Teagle program, Leo serves as the blog editor of Team 2 and also contributes in the interview process. Leo is a very active person in his free time: He is not only the captain of his school’s volleyball team, but also loves to play sports like basketball, football, skateboarding, snowboarding, and surfing. Other than sports, Leo also practices break dancing weekly with his dance crew. |

When she is not busy doing homework or fighting her siblings or teagle-ing, she likes to lay on the sofa with a cup of rocky road ice cream at hand and enjoy herself in the world of books. |

Franchesco is regarded as the audacious dreamer, always striving to defy the norms in every approach and formulate his own notions. In his free time Franchesco writes poetry on his life and dreams and is constantly seen on the basketball courts flying and dreaming high. |

Kenya native Lorraine G. Njoki is the Original Content Editor for Team 2. She is a graduate of Cathedral High School and this fall she will be attending Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York. Lorraine hopes to work with international non-profit groups focusing on women and children’s rights. Lorraine lives in Queens and loves dancing, acting, watching movies, trying new foods, attending live music events and laughing with friends! Her dream is to travel to every country in the world within her lifetime!!! |
