Manhattan Center for Mathematics and Science Students Survey Results
These pie charts were created based on surveys that were given to a random sample of 43 high school seniors. The survey took place at Manhattan Center for Science and Math (MCSM) High School, and were administered by WeiTing Chen. Based on the answers provided by each student, we created a visual chart. One of the questions each student was asked was, “What race best describes you?” The first pie graph represents the variety of ethnicities among students we interviewed at MCSM.
The other seven pie charts represent the questions and answers from the rest of the survey.

Have you learned about local politics at your school? Do you want to learn more about local politics?
Some of the funny and extreme quotes/answers that students gave:
I do not care
Em…I am graduating this year so it doesn’t really matter. (Oh… you are wrong, it does matter!!)

Who is the governor of New York? – Elliot Spitzer, Guilliani (That’s long time ago!!!)
Who is your congress person? – Hilary Clinton (How come I did not know that? Umh..) Ronald McDonald (Really?)
What do you want to learn more about local politics? – “Everything! Yes very much please” ( We need more this type of people!!)
